Dear friends,
Here are some pictures of our garden. It is very simple. We could not find open space so we placed it in pots. Our Biology teacher suggested planting herbs and spices. The students chose these popular spices: mint, celery, parsley, dill and basil. They made a file for each one consisting of pictures and important facts.
In spring we are going to add new species, especially some traditional vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers and others.
Honestly, this practical task is very useful for our students. Grown in a big city, they have very vague knowledge about farming. Step by step we are changing this situation.

During lessons of Working
classes our pupils do some
autumn gardening.
But actually not much
as it is time to prepare the
land for winter.
This is the month when
we put the seads in the soil to
pre-cultivate them. March is still
very cold time so we need to
keep the plants inside in pots.
If the weather is nice,
we can replace already the
plants from inside to the soil
in the garden. This way we
fasten the growing a lot.
This is the time to see
how fast the plants are
growing. It is already
warm enough and also
it rains a lot to water
the new sprouts.
The most favourite activity is
harvesting. Our pupils were lucky and what they planted they harvested.
